Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

Randy of south central Oklahoma was in his home the evening of June 17, 2015 as the remnants of Tropical Storm Bill dropped 12.53 inches of rain over the area. What was supposed to be a relaxing evening, turned into an evening of him having to be rescued from his home as the flood waters rose 5 feet in 10 minutes.  Randy lost all of his belongings of which included his vehicles, tools and equipment for an automotive restoration business he runs in a shop on his property.  Randy is not in a flood plain and had no need for flood insurance.  He states “I feel as if I lost everything I own and I would not know where to begin if it wasn’t for your organization.”
